Friday Art Opening: Max Kauffman's Ramshackle Deluxe
One of my favorite Denver artists, Max Kauffman has a show opening Friday at street artist/graffiti writer Jolt's warehouse space, the Guerilla Garden (38th Ave and Steele). The title of the show Ramshackle Deluxe may have something do with the fact that Max, in addition to displaying his fantastic watercolor illustrations, has, with the help of his accomplice, referred to only as Brandon, constructed a three dimensional "tape shack", which Max describes in the following statement: "The install focuses on the theme of a city built out of the ashes and relics of another time- cobbled doors, fence posts, tables and other wood is cobbled together to form a city striving to surviv...Read more

April First Friday To Do List
You should be (p)artying Friday Now that I'm once again a CO. dweller, after making the move from Minneapolis, I can actually partake in the regular First Friday festivities, instead of just hearing about them.
