Brittany Gould
Brittany Gould was trained in printmaking at Metro State College of Denver and takes her formal medium beyond the flat surface well into the third dimension, and if she had it her way, perhaps others as well. Incorporating traditional techniques such as wood block and intaglio printing with paper cutting, sculpture, digital photography and drawing, she creates subtly textured and colored objects of delicate design. A one time molecular biology student, her work embodies a joyous fascination with the mystic intelligence and flexibility of organic shapes forever expanding and contracting to suit their surrounding environments.
Drew Englander
Drew Englander received his degree in drawing and painting from the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design. While all of his ideas first physically take shape as drawings, they also result in other forms including paintings, videos and sculptures. Meticulously rendered, yet often outside the parameters of accurate proportions, his work invokes the vantage point of an obssesive childlike awe at the exuberance and savagery of humanity as it seeks meaning in elusive forces, from deities and tribal ritual to astral explosions, cellular growths, and the human form itself.
