It all started when....
I looked at something and wanted to understand it better so I drew it.
My work is...
a reaction to the current trends of mass consumerism, mass marketing and the resulting byproducts and waste stream it creates. I am fascinated by it and a bit repulsed as well. I try to let the creativity that goes into the production of all this stuff influence my work. I celebrate variety and play with ideas of value and beauty.
My ideal work environment...
would be outside but I am still making it indoors.
I spend my days/nights...
on art or surfing or with friends and family and at nights I watch movies and read.
I'm under the influence of...
of many that came before me as well as contemporaries working in a wide range of media. If I had to put together an all star list it would be very difficult but Jeff Koons and Damien Hirst would never make the list. Tim Hawkinson and Pieter Bruegel would.
My favorite tool of the trade...

The one item to be buried with me...
I want to be cremated and anything I thought worth while I would want someone else to have although I couldn't imagine what that might be.
Something I value that others might discard...
It really depends on what I am working on but I have been known to dive into dumpsters and pick though others trash. I worked with cigarette butts for a while.
