d) a distortion of (a)
e) a reflection of (b)
f) a distortion of (b)
g) both (a) and (b)
h) both (c) and (d)
i) both (e) and (f)
j) all of the above
k) none of the above
a
Art to me needs to capture the idea that moves people and makes a lasting impression on them. It needs to be something they can relate to understand in some way. Honest, pure, raw, graphic purposeful but meaningful.
2) Agree or Disagree?
"Fantasy, abandoned by reason, produces impossible monsters; united with it, she is the mother of the arts and the origin of marvels."
Disagree. Aldo said it best. Life is a fantasy.
3) On a stroll through the woods, you happen upon a particularly comfortable looking, moss-covered boulder. Tired from a long days' journey, you unfurl your limbs to discover the boulder beneath you is actually the foot of a very ancient, sleeping forest troll. You turn to make a hasty escape, but find your path blocked by what you realize is a grove of groggy giants. What do you do?
I think there is an iphone app for that. I would try that.
